Worksheets!

Over the years, I’ve created a number of worksheets to use with clients. Usually they start with a pen and paper on-the-fly in a session when I need something that I just haven’t found in workbooks, manuals, or elsewhere. Enjoy!

Thinking Helpers: These are the opposite of cognitive distortions (google cognitive distortions if you aren’t familiar). These are ways to help the way you think be more accurate and helpful.

Anger Thermometer and Coping Tools: Information about coping with anger, and a list of coping tools.

Unsticking Thoughts: Sometimes our thoughts get stuck and don’t move on. These are (silly) exercises to help unstick thoughts.

Helpful Thoughts to Keep in Your Back Pocket: Some go-to realistic/neutral thoughts to think in hard situations.

Family Conversation Guide: A worksheet for all family members to fill out before a serious conversation.

Thought Challenging: Questions to ask about your thoughts, to help you come up with a more neutral or realistic thought.

Values and You: Quickly assess your values and consider how to use them to guide your decisions.
